A top price for Sophia Vari
In May 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session, which included the work Temps Suspendu by Sophia Vari. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 58,911.74). With this result, Temps Suspendu is even the most expensive work of art by Sophia Vari that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Temps Suspendu von Sophia Vari zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 58.911,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Temps Suspendu sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sophia Vari, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
