This artwork by Sophia Vari achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in April 2005. In the INTERIEURS auction, the work Après l'amour Toile non montée sold for EUR 1,560.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sophia Vari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Temps Suspendu in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 58,911.74).
