It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,637.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Song Xiang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Calligraphy Couplet in Running Cursive Script was auctioned for HKD 204,000.00 (€ 19,424.96).
