The work Lotus by Song Meiling was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 138,000.00 (€ 15,948.75), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Meiling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Misty Mountains, which sold at auction in November 2017 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,066.06).

Die Arbeit Lotus von Song Meiling wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 138.000,00 (€ 15.948,75) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Meiling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Misty Mountains beobachtet, die im November 2017 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.066,06) versteigert wurde.
