Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction New Now & Design, which included the work Usefulness of Uselessness - Rectangular Window No. 6 by Song Dong. The price achieved of HKD 889,000.00 (€ 104,319.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Other works by Song Dong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work Stamping On Water (Set Of 36) was auctioned for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion New Now & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Usefulness of Uselessness - Rectangular Window No. 6 von Song Dong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 889.000,00 (€ 104.319,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 700.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Song Dong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2014 die Arbeit Stamping On Water (Set Of 36) für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82) versteigert.
