Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Stamping The Water (Set Of Thirty Six) by Song Dong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,722.49). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Song Dong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stamping On Water (Set Of 36), which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stamping The Water (Set Of Thirty Six) von Song Dong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 620.000,00 (€ 61.722,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Song Dong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stamping On Water (Set Of 36) beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82) versteigert wurde.
