A top price for Song Dong
This artwork by Song Dong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Stamping On Water (Set Of 36) sold for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. This high result makes Stamping On Water (Set Of 36) the most expensive artwork by Song Dong that we have observed at auctions so far.
