The work Mushroom by Sofu Teshigahara was sold in the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2010. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,625.00 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sofu Teshigahara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,290.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mushroom von Sofu Teshigahara wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.625,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sofu Teshigahara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Setsugetsu Ka - Snow Moon Flower (Hexaptych Folding Screens) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.290,93).
