Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work "Interior", 2007 by Sirous Namazi for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,690.07). This price was achieved in the auction The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sirous Namazi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Utan titel", 2002 in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 130,000.00 (€ 14,210.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Interior", 2007 von Sirous Namazi für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.690,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sirous Namazi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Utan titel", 2002 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 130.000,00 (€ 14.210,65).
