A top price for William Orpen - as previously expected
The work Portrait Of Lady Idina Wallace by William Orpen was sold in the British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 962,500.00 (€ 1,158,239.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of Lady Idina Wallace is the most expensive artwork by William Orpen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Portrait Of Lady Idina Wallace von William Orpen wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
