In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work Portrait Of Miss Elizabeth Buckler Standing In A Landscape changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,214.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Beechey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dashwood Children in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 821,000.00 (€ 608,148.15).
