Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Wooded Landscape by Lawrence Gowing was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,223.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lawrence Gowing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self portrait in Oakleigh Avenue in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 11,950.00 (€ 17,154.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape von Lawrence Gowing kam im März 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 840,00 (€ 1.223,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lawrence Gowing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self portrait in Oakleigh Avenue im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.950,00 (€ 17.154,40).
