Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lazy Time in the Afternoon by Simon Palmer was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in March 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,414.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Palmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvesting Snow in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,902.90).

Die Arbeit Lazy Time in the Afternoon von Simon Palmer wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.414,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Palmer erzielen.
