Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Ascending with Assistance by Simon Palmer for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,450.00). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Palmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvesting Snow in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,902.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ascending with Assistance von Simon Palmer für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.450,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Palmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harvesting Snow im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.902,90).
