This work without title by Shusaku Arakawa was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session auction at Christies in New York in May 2019. It achieved a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,270.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shusaku Arakawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vertical Thought, which sold at auction in October 2017 for GBP 137,500.00 (€ 156,776.91).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shusaku Arakawa wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.270,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shusaku Arakawa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vertical Thought beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für GBP 137.500,00 (€ 156.776,91) versteigert wurde.
