Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Shinkichi Tajiri was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 15,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shinkichi Tajiri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Guerrier - Warrior, which sold at auction in October 2012 for EUR 58,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shinkichi Tajiri kam im April 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 15.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Shinkichi Tajiri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Guerrier - Warrior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für EUR 58.600,00 versteigert wurde.
