This artwork by Shinkichi Tajiri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 35,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shinkichi Tajiri; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Guerrier - Warrior sold at auction in October 2012 with the realized price of EUR 58,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shinkichi Tajiri erzielte im November 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 35.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Shinkichi Tajiri; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Guerrier - Warrior im Oktober 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 58.600,00.
