The work Head (from the red brick series) by Shinkichi Tajiri was sold in the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,710.00 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Shinkichi Tajiri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Guerrier - Warrior in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 58,600.00.

Die Arbeit Head (from the red brick series) von Shinkichi Tajiri wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.710,00 und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shinkichi Tajiri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Guerrier - Warrior im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.600,00.
