This work without title by Shinkichi Tajiri was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2019. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 21,250.00 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shinkichi Tajiri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Guerrier - Warrior, which sold at auction in October 2012 for EUR 58,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shinkichi Tajiri wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 21.250,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Shinkichi Tajiri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Guerrier - Warrior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für EUR 58.600,00 versteigert wurde.
