A top price for Shinichi Maruyama
In July 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction CONTEMPORARY LIVING – Photographs, Prints & Design, which included the work 'Kusho #2' by Shinichi Maruyama. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,936.53). With this result, 'Kusho #2' is even the most expensive work of art by Shinichi Maruyama that we have observed at auctions so far.
