Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Kusho #2' (Writing In The Sky) by Shinichi Maruyama. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,752.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shinichi Maruyama - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Kusho #2', which sold at auction in July 2015 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,936.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Kusho #2' (Writing In The Sky) von Shinichi Maruyama zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.752,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shinichi Maruyama mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Kusho #2' beobachtet, die im Juli 2015 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.936,53) versteigert wurde.
