Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Shinichi Maruyama could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Kusho #18 changed hands for GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,223.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shinichi Maruyama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Kusho #2' in July 2015 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,936.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shinichi Maruyama konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Kusho #18 für GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.223,41) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shinichi Maruyama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Kusho #2' im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.936,53).
