This artwork by Shi Guoliang achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction, the work Xinjiang Dance sold for HKD 100,300.00 (€ 11,464.14) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shi Guoliang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Life In Countryside in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,035,000.00 (€ 101,314.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shi Guoliang erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I wurde die Arbeit Xinjiang Dance für HKD 100.300,00 (€ 11.464,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shi Guoliang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Life In Countryside im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.035.000,00 (€ 101.314,93).
