Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August last year POLY held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings, which included the work Portrait of Zheng Banqiao by Shi Guoliang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 236,000.00 (€ 29,872.23). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shi Guoliang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Life In Countryside, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 1,035,000.00 (€ 101,314.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Zheng Banqiao von Shi Guoliang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 236.000,00 (€ 29.872,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Shi Guoliang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Life In Countryside beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 1.035.000,00 (€ 101.314,93) versteigert wurde.
