The »bidding war« ended at HKD 295,000.00 (€ 37,340.29), 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shi Guoliang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Life In Countryside, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 1,035,000.00 (€ 101,314.93).

Die Arbeit Returning Home von Shi Guoliang wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings bei POLY versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 37.340,29) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Shi Guoliang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Life In Countryside beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 1.035.000,00 (€ 101.314,93) versteigert wurde.
