The work Feeding by Shi Guoliang was auctioned at POLY in August last year. It achieved a price of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 44,808.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shi Guoliang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Life In Countryside, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 1,035,000.00 (€ 101,314.93).

Die Arbeit Feeding von Shi Guoliang kam im August letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 44.808,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shi Guoliang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Life In Countryside beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 1.035.000,00 (€ 101.314,93) versteigert wurde.
