Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rock, Bamboo and Pine by Shen Zongqian was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,383.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Zongqian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 79,653.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rock, Bamboo and Pine von Shen Zongqian wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.383,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Zongqian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 79.653,26).
