Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2004 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Landscapes by Shen Zongqian. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 83,650.00 (€ 8,426.69). Admittedly, works by Shen Zongqian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 79,653.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Shen Zongqian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 83.650,00 (€ 8.426,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Zongqian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 79.653,26).
