Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape After Yunlin by Shen Zhou was sold in the Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors auction at POLY in November last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 9,600.00 (€ 1,191.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Zhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy And Landscape Of 'Zhang Gong' Karst Cave in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,820,982.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Yunlin von Shen Zhou wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 9.600,00 (€ 1.191,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Zhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy And Landscape Of 'Zhang Gong' Karst Cave im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.150.000,00 (€ 2.820.982,23).
