Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Fine Asian Works of Art, which included the work Chrysanthemums, 1944 by Shen Zhongqiang. The price achieved of USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,344.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Shen Zhongqiang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2019 the work Autumn Chrysanthemums was auctioned for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,268.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Fine Asian Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chrysanthemums, 1944 von Shen Zhongqiang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.344,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Shen Zhongqiang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2019 die Arbeit Autumn Chrysanthemums für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.268,59) versteigert.
