Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong, which included the work oil on canvas, with certificate of authenticity issued by ShanghART Gallery, Shanghai by Shen Fan. The price achieved of HKD 35,280.00 (€ 3,922.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shen Fan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 1991-M-3 in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 200,000.00 (€ 28,883.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit oil on canvas, with certificate of authenticity issued by ShanghART Gallery, Shanghai von Shen Fan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 3.922,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Fan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 1991-M-3 im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 200.000,00 (€ 28.883,71).
