Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Garden-P-9a by Shen Fan was sold in the FIRST OPEN | Shanghai auction at Christies in Shanghai in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of CNY 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CNY 84,000.00 (€ 11,310.34). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Fan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1991-M-3, which sold at auction in April 2015 for CNY 200,000.00 (€ 28,883.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Garden-P-9a von Shen Fan wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CNY 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CNY 84.000,00 (€ 11.310,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Fan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1991-M-3 beobachtet, die im April 2015 für CNY 200.000,00 (€ 28.883,71) versteigert wurde.
