Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work 2000 (Set Of Three) by Shen Fan. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,745.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Fan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1991-M-3, which sold at auction in April 2015 for CNY 200,000.00 (€ 28,883.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2000 (Set Of Three) von Shen Fan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.745,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Fan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 1991-M-3 beobachtet, die im April 2015 für CNY 200.000,00 (€ 28.883,71) versteigert wurde.
