Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Hearth by Shang Yang. The price achieved of HKD 3,540,000.00 (€ 409,120.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Other works by Shang Yang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) was auctioned for HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 640,210.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hearth von Shang Yang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.540.000,00 (€ 409.120,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Shang Yang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) für HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 640.210,11) versteigert.
