Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Great Landscape With Sunshine - 2 by Shang Yang was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 2,832,000.00 (€ 319,067.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shang Yang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych), which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 640,210.11).

Die Arbeit Great Landscape With Sunshine - 2 von Shang Yang wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.832.000,00 (€ 319.067,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shang Yang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 640.210,11) versteigert wurde.
