Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Past Event: First Draft by Shang Yang was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 68,186.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shang Yang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 640,210.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Past Event: First Draft von Shang Yang kam im April 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 590.000,00 (€ 68.186,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shang Yang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dong Qichang'S Plan - 4 (Diptych) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 640.210,11).
