The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,529.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Servando Cabrera Moreno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Los ejemplos in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,816.57).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit El bálsamo tranquilo von Servando Cabrera Moreno wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.529,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Servando Cabrera Moreno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Los ejemplos im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 48.816,57).
