Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Servando Cabrera Moreno could be acquired at Phillips in New York in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin America auction, the work Amatista changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,012.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Servando Cabrera Moreno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Los ejemplos in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,816.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Servando Cabrera Moreno konnte im Mai 2017 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin America wechselte die Arbeit Amatista für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.012,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Servando Cabrera Moreno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Los ejemplos im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 48.816,57).
