Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work El corazón del plátano by Servando Cabrera Moreno for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,606.68). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Servando Cabrera Moreno achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los ejemplos in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,816.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit El corazón del plátano von Servando Cabrera Moreno für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.606,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Servando Cabrera Moreno erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los ejemplos im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 48.816,57).
