It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,618.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergei Soudeikine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Oriental Scene, Circa 1923 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 241,000.00 (€ 154,804.73).

Die Arbeit Petrouchka And The Moor: A Pair Of Costume Designs For The Ballet Petrouchka von Sergei Soudeikine kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.618,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergei Soudeikine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Oriental Scene, Circa 1923 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 241.000,00 (€ 154.804,73).
