Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In The Park, View Of Rooftops, And Cityscape: A Group Of Three Works by Sergei Soudeikine was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,339.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergei Soudeikine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Oriental Scene, Circa 1923 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 241,000.00 (€ 154,804.73).
