Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysage by Serge Mendjisky was sold in the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,500.00. Admittedly, works by Serge Mendjisky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,432.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage von Serge Mendjisky wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 7.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Mendjisky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paris, Scene De Rue Grands Boulevards im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.432,69).
