Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Christies held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work Prakriti by Syed Haider Raza. The price achieved of USD 106,250.00 (€ 91,776.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Syed Haider Raza achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tapovan in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,452,500.00 (€ 3,614,042.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Christies die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prakriti von Syed Haider Raza zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 91.776,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Syed Haider Raza erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tapovan im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.452.500,00 (€ 3.614.042,21).
