The work Self-Portrait #3 by Sarah Lucas was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June last year. It achieved a price of GBP 201,600.00 (€ 234,201.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarah Lucas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bunny Gets Snookered #8, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 736,600.00 (€ 691,383.52).

Die Arbeit Self-Portrait #3 von Sarah Lucas kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 201.600,00 (€ 234.201,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarah Lucas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bunny Gets Snookered #8 beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 736.600,00 (€ 691.383,52) versteigert wurde.
