This artwork by Sarah Lucas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October this year. In the LOVE STORIES - from the collection of Anne & Wolfgang Titze auction, the work Hoolian sold for EUR 264,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarah Lucas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bunny Gets Snookered #8, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 736,600.00 (€ 691,383.52).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sarah Lucas erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion LOVE STORIES - from the collection of Anne & Wolfgang Titze wurde die Arbeit Hoolian für EUR 264.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarah Lucas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bunny Gets Snookered #8 beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 736.600,00 (€ 691.383,52) versteigert wurde.
