In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work One Way To Separate The Men by Sarah Grilo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,625.00 (€ 32,857.49), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sarah Grilo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mi Buenos Aires querido sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of USD 60,480.00 (€ 54,520.87).

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit One Way To Separate The Men von Sarah Grilo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 40.625,00 (€ 32.857,49) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sarah Grilo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mi Buenos Aires querido im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 54.520,87).
