The work Manseriche by Sarah Grilo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2013. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,024.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sarah Grilo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mi Buenos Aires querido in March last year with an auction result of USD 60,480.00 (€ 54,520.87).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Manseriche von Sarah Grilo kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.024,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sarah Grilo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mi Buenos Aires querido im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 54.520,87).
