Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composición No. 23, En Rojos by Sarah Grilo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 28,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 28,125.00 (€ 21,654.60). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarah Grilo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mi Buenos Aires querido, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 60,480.00 (€ 54,520.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composición No. 23, En Rojos von Sarah Grilo kam im Mai 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 28.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 28.125,00 (€ 21.654,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarah Grilo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mi Buenos Aires querido beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 60.480,00 (€ 54.520,87) versteigert wurde.
