Sold at the lower estimate price
The work The Color 3 - 6 Portfolio by Sarah Crowner was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in New York in October 2018. The result of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,323.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sarah Crowner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rotated Stretched Stems, Cropped in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 334,898.56).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The Color 3 - 6 Portfolio von Sarah Crowner wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.323,69) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sarah Crowner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rotated Stretched Stems, Cropped im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 334.898,56).
