The work Flying Painting by Sarah Crowner was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 126,000.00 (€ 117,416.83), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarah Crowner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rotated Stretched Stems, Cropped, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 378,000.00 (€ 334,898.56).

Die Arbeit Flying Painting von Sarah Crowner wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 117.416,83) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarah Crowner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rotated Stretched Stems, Cropped beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 378.000,00 (€ 334.898,56) versteigert wurde.
